When will I get information on orientation and registration?

Orientation is divided into two parts:

  1. Pre-Orientation will be in mid-May. You’ll access it online via Canvas, the School’s learning management system. Through videos, readings, and presentations, you will learn more about classes, professors, and student organizations. You will be able to complete Pre-Orientation at your own pace from mid-May to mid-July, but it is important that you are mindful of specific due dates. You will be notified via your UNC email when Pre-Orientation is launched and ready to go!
  2. New Student Orientation will take place at the beginning of August. Attendance is required.

Do I need to register myself for fall classes if I am already a student at UNC-Chapel Hill?

No, do not attempt to register for classes prior to Pre-Orientation.
