Timeline

Two weeks after acceptance: Submit your pending prerequisite plan to pharmacy_admissions@unc.edu and complete your criminal background check.

 

Class of 2029

September-May: Begin completing your health documentation requirements.

By February 1:  Please contact the UNC Office of International Student and Scholar Services immediately upon accepting your offer of enrollment or no later than February 1st if a visa is required to attend the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in person. Failure to do so could result in delays in obtaining a visa, which may result in an admission deferral. Students requiring a visa can also contact Laura Bratsch, Registrar and Curriculum Manager, for further assistance at lbratsch@email.unc.edu.

By March 1: Complete your FAFSA to apply for financial aid.

April: We will send an email with your UNC personal identification number (PID). You will receive instructions to set up your Onyen (unique UNC identifier) and UNC email. This email will be sent to the email address listed in your PharmCAS application.

May-June: Financial aid awards will be calculated. For more information, contact the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid.

May 15: We will send you an email with instructions to begin Pre-Orientation. This email will be sent to your UNC email. Pre-Orientation is delivered on the University’s LMS (learning management system).

Late May-to-Mid-July: Complete Pre-Orientation lessons. Deliverables come due at the end of May and throughout the summer.

Early June – Your Peer Mentor will reach out to you via your UNC email address.

By June 15: Submit your health documentation requirements.

By July 1: Submit official transcripts.

Mid-to-late July:  Move to the area in preparation for the first day of Orientation Week. You must be present in Chapel Hill on or before August 1st.

Mid-to-late-July: Tuition bills can be found in your Connect Carolina account.

August: Orientation Week begins in person on the Chapel Hill campus.

All Orientation Week events are required for PY1s!
